Building EvoXedge
We designed and built EvoXedge to help teams find vendor overcharges, potential savings and recoveries. It brings contracts, invoices and spending records together so findings can be checked and followed up.

01 / understand
Start with the reviewer's job
A spending discrepancy is only useful if someone can check it and act on it. We focused EvoXedge on that whole task: comparing charges with agreements, investigating differences and following up on money that could be saved or recovered.
02 / plan
Decide what to automate
We structured the workflow around document intake, financial checks and human review. AI helps read documents; application code calculates discrepancies. Reviewers can inspect the supporting records and decide which findings to pursue.
03 / build
Build in manageable parts
We separated document review, financial analysis and follow-up into distinct parts of the application. This makes it possible to review each part as it develops and refine how the parts work together.
For client projects, we demonstrate working software and share written updates on an agreed schedule, using feedback to plan the next steps.
04 / test & refine
Check calculations and clarity
Automated tests cover financial calculations, saved review decisions and client reports. We also made the reporting distinctions explicit: potential savings, recorded recoveries and modelled ROI are labelled separately, so readers can understand what each figure represents.
05 / deploy & document
Prepare for ongoing use
We deployed EvoXedge to AWS using Docker containers and Terraform. The application can move to another cloud provider with the infrastructure and service configuration adapted to that environment.
Detailed documentation covers the code, architecture, local setup, configuration and deployment, giving another team the information needed to maintain and run the system.

What we delivered
EvoXedge connects the records behind a finding with the decisions and follow-up that come next. The delivered work includes the application, its AWS deployment and the documentation needed to continue development and manage its hosting.
